After some months with erratic updates, I have decided to try to maintain this blog up to date with information about my research work, life, etc. I have also decide to switch to English again. I left Libresoft last month and joined the Complutense University of Madrid. I am working on the Costa project, that aims to automatically measure the cost of Java bytecode programs. So this is a shift in my research directions. I am actually quite happy with the changes, because I am feeling the same sensations that when I started my PhD. Actually, I have done some advances so far, that I will try to talk about in next posts.
I updated my website a couple of weeks ago, so it is now easier to find my publications and to cite them thanks to the BibTeX links (go and check it!). There is a even a video of my PhD dissertation. The website is generated automatically using Emacs and the Org-Mode. I will also post about this in a next post.
Finally, I changed my laptop and it is now a shiny Samsung X360 (see some videos [1] [2] [3]), that is very light and thin, and with an impressive battery runtime. I had some problems installing Archlinux though, because in spite of the Core2Duo processors, it can not run a 64bit kernel, and the 32bit kernel did not find the whole 4 GB of RAM but only 3 GB. But it is now running like a charm. If you own one of these gadgets, and have any problem running Linux, drop a comment and I will try to help you.
Good luck in your new adventures.
